Adobe – Photoshop – Unable to continue because of a Hardware or System Error

Unable to continue because of a hardware or system error. Sorry, but this error is Unrecoverable.

If you receive and error like this while starting Photoshop, your not alone. I have noticed that this error often times appears to step from corrupted  settings. In the following simple solution, I will show you how I address the issue, and get my Photoshop working when this "Unable to continue" Photoshop error is encountered.

How I (Lancelhoff.com) have fixed the Photoshop Error

1. First, hold down all three Ctrl+Alt+Shift buttons;
2. Now "while keeping those button held," simply open Photoshop or a file that opens with Photoshop;
3. As Photoshop loads, you should get a prompt asking if you would like to "delete the Photoshop settings file", Click Yes;

You should now be able to start Photoshop and the error message should disappear.

NOTE: For best results, press and hold Ctrl+Alt+Shift then (right mouse click) a Photoshop shortcut and select Open.
