Sometimes simply resetting the iPhone settings will resolve conflicts or functionality you may have lost because of a setting that was changed. There may also be cases where you need to reset the iPhone network settings which can be completed from the same location.
Follow the directions below to factory default the settings on your iPhone or to factory default the network settings only.
Factory Default iPhone Settings:
- Open iPhone Settings: Open the Settings menu by clicking on the settings icon. The settings window will display as shown below.
iPhone General Settings: Now click on the General settings option shown at the bottom of the above image. Once clicked the iPhone General settings configuration window will display as shown below.
iPhone Reset Options: Scroll to the bottom of the General settings window which will reveal the Reset option as shown below.
Reset All Settings: Now click on the Reset All Settings option located at the top of the Reset options window as shown in the below image.
Verify iPhone Settings Reset: Once you click on Reset All Settings a confirmation window as shown below will display. Go ahead and confirm by clicking the red Reset All Settings button which will begin the reset process during which your iPhone will reboot.
