SCENARIO
When I try to open IE 7 it searches for a while at:
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=74005
and then fails. I run the test and the connection shows fine.
SOLUTION
Copy the below code in a file having extension as .reg (eg IE7.reg) and save it on desktop. Double click it to update the registry.
