Microsoft Word Shows Hyperlinks In Curly Braces as {HYPERLINK} (Office Word 2003)

Word [gs hyperlink]s are not displaying correctly. Hyperlinks show up inside curly braces starting with the word HYPERLINK in all capital letters and followed by the URL you are trying to enter into the document.
