It could be necessary to remove an old version of TrendMicro OfficeScan from some clients, but none remember the old password (administrative) to run the uninstaller.
To inform TrendMicro OfficeScan to uninstall properly (even when you don't remember the password), do the following:
If the method above doesn't work (or you can't find the Ofcscan.ini configuration file), then we'll have to remove manually from the registry and from services:
OfficeScanNT Personal Firewall (this one may not be enabled – don’t worry if you don’t see it)
NOTE: If you are trying to remove an early version of the client, these registry keys and services involved may not be the same.
